Leafswirl exited his den and headed toward the leaders den. He had just been taking inventory and had finished so he wanted to check with his leader on what was going on. He stood outside of the den and called in "Smokestar. Can I come in?"

Leafswirl had a brief thought of concern. "Why?" He wanted to be close to the leader. Even though the medicine was nearly double the age of the leader, and had helped him to be kitted, he respected him. He wanted to have the leaders respect and to know him on a personal level.

Smokestar looked at Leafswirl. "Why do you want to know? Its nothing really to do, but sit here." He showed a sinister grin. "But if you really want to know," Smokestar mewed as he flexed his long claws, "I feel like starting a battle. Not like it's anything else to do."

Leafswirl shivered. He has the necessary stock of herbs to prepare themselves. "If that is your will, I can do nothing to stop you." The leader did have more power than the medicine cat. So it was his decision.
